Obituary	EARL C. GRIFFIN DEXTER - Earl C. Griffin, 73, of Ridgewood Terrace, Dexter, husband of Ora (Caron) Griffin, died Nov. 14, 1983, in Pittsfield, after a long illness. He was born Oct. 12, 1910, in Bangor, the son of Harry and Sadie (Johnston) Griffin. He was a graduate of Bangor High School and was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter. He had been a machinist at Fay Scott-Landis Machine Shop, Dexter, for more than 18 years. Surviving besides his wife of Dexter are two sons, Robert of New Hope, Minn., and Allen of Casco; four stepchildren, Mrs. Darlene Frati of Hermon, Mrs. Bernice Whitney of Bangor, Mrs. Edna Chase of Auburn and Garfield Watson of St. Albans; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Morrison and Mrs. Edna Norton, both of Bangor; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ, Mill Street, Dexter, with Ralph Smart and Herbert Braswell officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor. Friends called at the Thompson Funeral Home, Corinna, Wednesday.
