Obituary	EDWARD D. CHURCH JR. DEXTER-Edward D. Church, Jr., 85, died Jan. 11 at a Waterville hospital after a long illness. He was born in Shirley Mills, Nov. 9, 1892, son of Edward and Eliza (Littlefield) Church Sr. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Dover-Foxcroft, and was employed in local woolen mills before he retired. He is survived by his wife, Isabelle (Burgess) Church; three daughters, Mrs. Crystal Weeks and Mrs. Virginia Harrington, both of Dexter, and Mrs. Donna Downs of Hartland; three sons, Norman of Dexter, Maynard of Corinna and Keith of Dover-Foxcroft; two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Ronco of Waterville, and Mrs. Hannah Maycoumberj; a brother, Arbery Church of Shirley; 15 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Jan. 13, at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in a Dover Cemetery in the Spring.
