Obituary	IVAN FLETCHER SR. PALMYRA-Ivan H. Fletcher Sr., 69, died Jan. 3 at his home after a short illness. He was born in Plymouth June 6, 1908, son of Henry and Effie (Rines) Fletcher. He had been a resident of this town for the past 28 years, previously living in Newport. For 37 years he was employed as a truck driver for Guilford Industries, Newport. he was a former member of Palmyra Grange and was active in the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Mason of Palmyra, four sons, Ivan Jr., Bellingham, Mass., George of Palmyra, harold of Newport and Robert of St. Albans; three daughters, Barbara Smith, Kansas City, Mo., Shirley Bryson, Newport, Janet Philbrick, Dover-Foxcroft, one brother, Clarence of Palmyra; five sisters, Margaret Margerson, Gardiner, Mildred Pease of Rockport, Marion Foote of Rockland, Irene Wark and Wyona Wark both of Dexter; 17 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Jan. 5 at the Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel, Pittsfield.
