Obituary	FRED A. SMITH CARIBOU and DEXTER - Fred A. Smith, 65, died Dec. 17, at a Caribou hospital, following a lingering illness. He was born in Stockholm, Dec. 27, 1911, son of Joseph and Laura (Norsworthy) Smith. He was a resident of Dexter for the past 15 years, and was visiting his nephew, Lloyd Griffeth in Caribou for the past month. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Laura (Norsworthy Smith) Humphrey of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. MAxine King of Calais; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Dec. 20, at the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, Caribou with the Rev. Howard Roberts pastor of Perham Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
