Obituary	HELEN PRATT BARNES FREETOWN, MASS - Mrs. Helen Pratt Barnes, 71, wife of Clifford Barnes, 34 Mason Rd., East Freetown, Mass. died Nov. 25, at Island Terrace Nursing Home, Lakeville, MA, following a long illness. She was born in Dover-Foxcroft, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley J. Pratt. A graduate of Castine Normal School, she attended summer school at Farmington Normal School and Bates College, Lewiston. She taught school for many years, and after her marriage gave piano lessons until 1968 when she opened the Cottage Gift Shop. She was active in the Ladies Friendly Circle of the Freetwon Congregational Church and in the Senior Citizens' group in Freetown. Besides her husband, she is survived by one sister, Miss Madeline Pratt of Dexter and a foster niece, Mrs. Joyce Smith of Augusta. Graveside services were held Nov. 28, at Rounswell Cemetery, East Freetown.
