Obituary	LUTHER E. NICHOLS DEXTER - Luther E. Nichols, 55 died unexpectedly July 31, at his Spring Street residence. He was born in Pittsfield August 28, 1921, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Nichols. He was a contract painter in Dexter for many years. An Army veteran of World War II, he was active in American Legion affairs. Surviving are his wife, Avis Mitchell Nichols, Dexter; a son, Luther, Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Beverly) Tremblay, both of Dexter; three step-children, Ruth, Brent and Belinda Randall, all of Dexter; a brother Gerald K. Tremblay, Norridewock; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were August 2 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial was in Village Cemetery, Corinna.
