Obituary	PHILIP T. GILBERT DEXTER - Philip Thomas Gilbert, 77 died July 20 at a local hospital following a long illness. He was born January 5, 1900, in Dexter, son of Joseph Gilbert and Mabel Clukey Gilbert. He was a lifelong resident of Dexter and a member of the Dexter Knights of Columbus. For many years he worked at Kilman's Grocery Store, later entering the grocery business with a partner, Clifford Goulette. He later worked in Abbotts Mills as a spinner, until retirement. He is survived by his wife, Irene Gilbert; three brothers, Clifford, Reginald, and Donald, all of Dexter; two sisters, Evelyn Poullard of Dexter and Zepherine Landry of Glastonbury, Conn.; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was said July 22 at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements by Crosby Funeral Home.
