WALTER G. LEO DEXTER Services for Walter G. Leo, 63, a native and resident of Dexter who was killed in a motorcycle accident July 5 in Corinna, were July 8 at Thompson Funeral Home, 188 Spring St. here, with the Rev. Paul Marshall, United Methodist Churh pastor officiating. Interment followed at Ripley's Ferndale Cemetery. Leo was born June 1, 1914, son of Joseph and Helen (Nutter) Leo, and was employed as a blacksmith at the Fayscott-Landis Machine Corp. retiring last year. His wife, the former Vera Dexter, died last February. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers as well as the local fish and game association and Big Indian Fish-Game and Snow-sledders Association of nearby ST. Albans. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Elbie Eastma of Bucksport; six sisters, Mrs. Danville (Ida) Mayhew of Abbot, Mrs. Mabel Murray of Corinna, Mrs. John (Alzada) McDougall of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Mrs. James (Nora) Cookson, Mrs. Thelma Gould and Mrs. Katherine Larm, all of town; two grandchildren, Mrs. William (Denise) Gray of Orrington and Miss Carol Eastman of Brewer; and two great-grand- children.
