Obituary
LOUIS J. CHABOT DEXTER - Louis J. Chabot, 66, died June 15 at a Bangor hospital following a short illness. He was born at Beaumont, Canada, August 4, 1910, son fo Aurele and Mary (LaFlamme) Chabot. He was employed at Abbott's Wollen Mflis for over 37 years as a weaver. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he served as treasurer for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Fanjoy) Chabot of Dexter; six sons, Maurice of Cumberland Center, Robert of Carson, Calif., Francis of Dexter, Douglas of Westbrook, Leonard,of Portland, Gerard of Dexter; one daughter, Miss Anne Chabot of Portland; four brothers, Joseph, Lionell, Paul and Philip, all of Dexter; four sisters, Mrs. Clatus (Jeanette) Clukey, Mrs. Nelson (Rita) Clukey, Mrs. Melvin (Helen) Clukey, Mrs. Florence Gould, all of Dexter; 15 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. A Mass of Christian Burial was said June 18 at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Rosary was said at the funeral home June 17. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Friends wishing to contribute to a memorial in his name for the improvement fund of St. Anne's parish may forward the same to the church rectory. Memorials for the Cancer Society may be left with the funeral director.
