Obituary	MRS. PERCIE MORRILL RIPLEY - Mrs. Percie Morill, 86, died May 10 at a Hartland nursing home. She was born May 28, 1890, in Machias, the daughter of Edwin and Emily Thompson. She came to Dexter at age 7 to live with Alice and Edwin Jewell as her parents had died. She married Sandy Morill in 1909, and after his death married Daniel Morill. They resided for several years in East Corinth, before returning to Ripley in 1950. She was a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church, and a Gold Star Mother of the American Legion Post in Dexter. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Stafford, Ripley; two sons, John of Buffalo, NY; and Kenneth of Covina, Cal. There are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Ripley ladies Aid, as well as the Christmas Club. Funeral services were May 13 at Dexter United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Marshall officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
