Obituary	JAMES HOWARD TOBIN DEXTER, AUBURN, Mass. - James Howard Tobin, 73, died at a Dexter hospital Jan. 2 unexpectedly. He was born Feb. 3, 1904 at Worcester, Mass., son of Thomas F. and Delia (Powers) Tobin. He had been a construction equipment operator with the Mass. Turnpike Authority until his retirement in 1965. He had lived in Auburn, Mass., most of his life, having moved to Maine last March. Besides his widow, Clair (Croteau) Tobin of Dexter, he is survived by his son, James H. Tobin Jr. of Dexter; one step-son, Douglas W. colton of Pittsburh, Pa.; two brothers, Thomas Jr., and Richard P. both of Auburn, Mass.; three sisters, Mary Sheehan and Helen Friend both of Worcester, Mass., Mildren Madore of Auburn, Mass.; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was said Jan. 4 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Auburn, Mass. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery, Auburn, Mass.
