Obituary	MARGARET [McCadam] GILES GARLAND-Margaret (McCadam) Giles, 81, died Oct. 29 at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born Oct. 9, 1895, in Johnston, Scotland, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Scott. She came to this country when she was 16 and married John Giles Sr. on Oct. 1, 1917. He survives her. She is also survived by two sons, Gerald of Saco and John Jr. of Garland; two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Ordway of Corinna and Mrs. Elizabeth Clukey of Dexter; three brothers, Richard and Herbert Scott, both of South Hadley, Mass., and William Scott of Nashua, N.H., two sisters, Mrs. Mary Nichols, and Mrs. Helen Bain, both of Holyoke, Mass.; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Private funeral services were held October 31, at the Crosby Funeral home, the Rev. Willis Wise of the Dexter Pentecostal Church officiating. Friends who wish may donate to the building fund of the church.
