Obituary
HOWARD A. EATON EXETER, N.H. - Howard A. Eaton, 80, died October 30th in a nursing home in Concord, Mass., after a long illness. He lived in Durham, N.H. for the last 33 years coming from Dexter. He was born in Exeter, son of the late Howard A. Eaton and Melvina (Rafter) Eaton. Mr. Eaton was a long time chef at the University of New Hampshire, and he was a 50 year member of the Ripley Grange and also a 50 year member of the Penobscot Lodge A.F. & A.M. #39. He was also a member of Modern Woodsman of America. He leaves his wife, Rena (Laughton) Eaton; two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Demeritt of Brentwood, N.H., and Geraldine Colosi of Maynard, Mass.; two sisters, Emma Creighton of Newport, and Etha Ellms of Dexter; two brothers, Leroy and Crosby, of Corinna; seven grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and several neices, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were November 2 in Epping, N.H. Burial followed in Brentwood, N.H.
