Obituary	CLIFTON A. BOWDOIN PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Clifton A. Bowdoin, 84, of Providence, R.I. died Sept. 26 following a long illness. He was born in Ripley, Me. July 29, 1892, the son of the late Charles W. and Ida Wentworth Bowdoin. He was the husband of the late Rose Nicholson Bowdoin, and at one time resided in Dexter. He graduated from Dexter High School in 1912 and from Bowdoin College, Brunswick in 1916. He was the owner of an insurance company. Survivors are a son, Charles C. Bowdoin of Riverside, R.I. and one granddaughter. A memorial service was held at the First Baptist Meeting house, Sept. 23 and burial was in the Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley.
