Obituary	CLARENCE M. ABBOTT SR. STETSON-Clarence M. Abbott, Sr., 86, died Aug. 31 at a Dover-Foxcroft boarding home after a short illness. He was born March 15, 1890, in Stetson, son of William and Florence (Mayhew) Abbott. He worked at the general store in Stetson for many years and was self-employed as a carpenter in the Stetson and Newport area for most of his life. He was a former member of the Pleasant Lake Grange of Stetson, and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Masons in Dexter. He is survived by a son, Clarence M. Jr. of Dexter; a granddaughter Mrs. Richard (Alice Anne) Mills of Etna; two great-granddaughters; and a niece. Funeral services were September 3, at the Crosby Funeral Home in Corinna. Burial was in the family lot in Clark's Hill Cemetery in Stetson.
