ROBERT C. FALCONER DEXTER & SHIRLEY MILLS - Robert C. Falconer, 60, died July 23 at a Togus hospital after a long illness. He was born May 14, 1916, in Greenville, the son of George and Mary Curtis Falconer. He resided in Shirley Mills for several years, was a graduate of Eliot High School in 1933, and attended Bowdoin College. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, and worked for the Canadian Pacific RR on Boarstone Mountain for several years. At the time of his retirement he was employed by the Fay and Scott Co. of Dexter. He is survived by a brother, G. Paul of Winslow, two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Helen) Whitmore of Grapevine, Tex., and Mrs. Raymond (Mary) Mills of Dexter; an uncle, Geroge Curtis of Brunswick; six nieces, three nephews; a grandniece, two grand nephews; and several cousins. Funeral services were July 25 at the Crosby Funeral Home. Friends wishing to contribute to a memorial in his name may forward them to Mrs. Gordon Hambrecht, 239 Main St., Dexter, treasurer of the American Legion auxiliary. These funds to be used at the Togus VA Hospital.
