Obituary	CHESTER L. HARTFORD DEXTER- Chester L. Hartford, 74, died July 12, at a Waterville hospital after a long illness. Born Feb. 16, 1902, the son of Melzer and Georgie (Verrill) Hartford, he was employed for 50 years as a fireman at Abbott Woolen Mill, and was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Georgianna, of Dexter; six sons, Chester, Arnold, Ronald and Arthur, all of Dexter, and Leo of Windsor, Conn.; one daughter, Mrs. Vincent (Geneva) Pisano, Brookfield, Conn.; three brothers, Melzer of Dexter, Roland of Mikkletown, Conn., and Raymond of New Jersey. Also surviving him are three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Nora) Bartlett, Ashland, Mrs. Edna Harper, East Corinth, and Mrs. George (Claris) Deny of Maryland; 26 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were July 14 at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
