Obituary	Mrs. Harriet C. Burns Mrs. Harriet Cushman Burns, 81, widow of the late Frank E. Burns, died Monday night at the Mayo hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, after a short illness. Mrs. Burns was born in Dexter, the daughter of Samuel and Anne Burleigh Cushman. She was married in early life to Frank E. Burns, who died in 1935. They made their home in Pittsfield about ten years, before returning to Dexter a short time before Mr. Burns' death. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Gertrude Burns; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Kelley; and two nieces, Miss Grace Kelley and Mrs. Ruth Shepherd Slater all of Dexter. Funeral services were held this afternoon, Thursday, at the home on Spring street, the Rev. Gordon C. Reardon of the First Universalist church officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in the spring.
