PAUL F. KEDDY DEXTER-Paul F. Keddy, 67, of 236 Spring St., and the husband of Evelyn (Keene) Keddy, died March 14 after a short illness. He was born Sept.4, 1908, in Nova Scotia, the son of George and Cora (Smeltzer) Keddy. He attended Harmony Schools and graduated from Harmony High School, class of 1928. He attended the First Baptist church, and had been an employee of Fayscot Corp. for 33 years, retiring in 1974. He was a past president of the National Association of Power Engineers, and was a member of the International Association of Machinists Union, Local 1696, where he served as trustee and auditor. Surviving besides his wife of Dexter, are one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Sharron) Maxell of Dexter; two brothers, Harvey of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Irvin of Waterville; two sisters Miss Hazel P. Keddy of Winslow; and Mrs. June L. Young of Waterville; three grandchildren, Tammy, Scott and Chad Maxell of Dexter. Funeral services were March 17 at the Dexter First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Dunn Jr. officiating. Spring burial will be in Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan. Those who wish may contribute to the First Baptist Church in his memory.
