On December 30, 1905 he was married to Mary L. Adams. He had a kind dispostion and generous hospitality endeared him to a host of friends. He belonged to Garland Grange and attended the Community Baptist Church. The many beautiful floral offerings were silent tributes of the esteen in which he was held by all who knew him.
