Obituary	MAXINE E. THOMPSON ELLSWORTH - Maxine E. Thompson, 48, died Jan. 26 at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born May 27, 1927, in Garland the daughter of Clarence and Marion (Macomber) Lord. She worked for many years at the Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Thompson of Ellsworth; her mother, Marion Lord of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Marcia Farwell of Brewer, Mrs. Cathy Lyendecker of Ellsworth; two sons, Marshall of Hampden, Frederick of Bucksport; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Tomkins of Oxford Conn.; Mrs. Barbara Plant of Corinna; two brothers, Bernard Lord of Corinna and John Lord of Nashua, N.H.; and two granddaughters. Funeral services were January 29 at the Jordan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
