Obituary	EDWARD T. STEVENS EXETER MILLS - Edward T. Stevens, 71, husband of Aletha Ellis Stevens, died Dec. 21 at his residence after a long illness. He was born March 26, 1905, in Dexter, son of Alonzo and Margie McKenney Stevens. He formerly resided in Maynard, Mass., and in Dexter, where he was employed at the Fayscott Corp. He also was self-employed as a stone mason. Surviving, besides his widow, are a son, Edward A. of Pittsfield; two daughters, Mrs. John (Marion) Soroka and Mrs. Herbert (Phyllis) Wardwell, both of Exeter; a sister, Mrs. Monty (Marjorie) Judkins, Bangor; nine grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were Dec. 23 at the Thompson funeral home, East Corinth, with the Rev. Willis Tedford, pastor of the Exeter Pentecostal Church officiating. Spring burial will be in North Newport cemetery.
