Obituary	VESTA A. WITHAM DEXTER - Mrs. Vesta A. Witham, 71, of 72 Grove St. here, died August 21 at her home after a long illness. She was born Oct. 21, 1903, at Amherst, daughter of Eugene and Myra (Hanscom) Giles. She had lived in Dexter since 1938 and was the widow of Edwin Witham, who died in 1957. She is survived by two sons, Edward Morey of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Wilfred Morey of Millinocket; four daughters, Mrs. Nettie Thompson of Dexter, Mrs. Frances Kelton of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Lillian Saunders of Corinna and Mrs. Beverly Grant of Tolland, Conn.; two brothers, Harold Giles of East Corinth and Leo Giles of Bangor; a sister, Mrs. Muriel Richards of Thomaston; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were August 24 at the Thompson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
