Obituary	EDWARD GORDON DEXTER-Edward Gordon, 89, died March 15 at a Monson nursing home after a long illness. He was born in Stephenville, Newfoundland, March 30, 1886, the son of Maxim and Katherine White Gordon. He was educated in the schools of Stephenville, moving to Dexter in 1919. He worked for many years at Fay-Scott Landis Company, Dexter. A short time after moving to Dexter he became a naturalized citizen of the United States. For many years he was employed in the local woolen mills. He is survived by two sons, Arthur of Newport; Virgil of Midland, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Florence) Rhoda of Milo, Mrs. William (Eunice) Fraser of Bath; Mrs. Walther (Ruth) Dodd of Midland, Texas; one brother, Hugh of Fairfield; one sister, Mary Gordon of Stephenville, Canada; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 18 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter.
