Obituary	MRS. GERTRUDE GOULD RIPLEY-Mrs. Gertrude D. Gould, 64, wife of Alton Gould, died March 13 at home following a long illness. A Waterville native, she was born Aug. 1, 1910, daughter of Roscoe and Susie (Eldridge) Downing. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Robert of Dexter and Blaine of town; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Deering of town and Mrs. Anita Jewett of Dexter; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Morin of Fairfield, Mrs. Marcia Soule of Searsport, and Mrs. Ruthie Greeley of Guilford; and eight grandchildren. Services were held March 15 at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter.
