Obituary	Dexter High Student Killed in Head-On Auto Collision WILLIAM G. GIFFORD ...A member of the junior class at Dexter Regional High School, Gifford was born July 1, 1958, in Meriden, Connecticut. He and his family had moved to the area only last fall. He was also a member of the junior varsity basketball team and the CCD class at St. Anne's Church. Aside from his parents, George and Althea (Clukey) Gifford, he leaves two brothers, Dennis, of Providence, R.I. and Fredeick of Ankoridge, Alaska; two sisters, Mrs. Nicholas (Deanna) Gere, Wellingford, Conn., and Mrs. J.C. (Rosemary) Hamlett, Caribou. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clukey of Guilford. Visitng hours at Crosby Funeral Home are Wednesday and Thursday, 2-4 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be said Thursday evening. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. St. Anne's Church. Spring burial will be at Sangerville Bridge Cemetery.
