Obituary
CHARLES WADE DEXTER - Charles Wade, 70, died Feb. 12 in a Waterville hospital after a long illness. He was born in Stratton June 14, 1904, son of George and Elvira (Dobbins) Wade. He was educated in the schools of Farmington and Livermore Falls, and worked for Fay-Scott Company in Dexter for 27 years as an iron-molder, retiring in 1966 due to ill health. Prior to this he worked and lived in the Portland area. He was a past noble grand of the Plymouth Lodge, IOOF, of Dexter, and a former member of the Masonic Lodge of Dexter. He is survived by his widow, Wilmina of Dexter; a son, Herbert of Dexter; a daughter Miss Beryl Wade of Bangor; a brother, Leander of Livermore Falls; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Littlefield of Farmington; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at the Crosby Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter, Feb. 15.
