Obituary	MRS. JOSEPHINE E. SMITH Dexter - Mrs. Josephine E. Smith, 62 died Feb. 7 at a Hartford, Conn. hospital after a short illness. She was the wife of the late RolandL. Smith. She was born in Dexter May 22, 1912 the daughter of Ernest and Annabelle (Maddocks) Reynolds. She had made her home in Coventry, Conn. for the past four years. Previously she had lived in the Dexter area. She is survived by two sons, Vertner Smith of Coventry, Conn., and Ernest Smith of Dexter; a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Perkins of Dexter; a sister, Mrs Ethel Brown of East Corinth; 14 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; nieces, and nephews. Funeral services were held Feb. 9 at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. Burial will be in the Kenduskeag Cemetery in the spring.
