Obituary
CHARLES M. COY DEXTER-Charles M. Coy, 81, died Feb. 8 at a Waterville Hospital. He was born at Monson, June 22, 1893, son of Forrest and Mattie (Drake) Coy. He had been self employed as a plumber in Dexter for many years. He was a veteran of World War I, a past commander of the Pouliott-Seavey Post American Legion, a past master of Penobscot Lodge of Masons, a past high priest of St. John Royal Arch Chapter, Dexter; a past patron of the Wassookeag Chapter, OES; a member of the Mount Moriah Council of Skowhegan; a member of the Maine Council, Order of High Priesthood of Portland; a former member of the DeMolay Commandery of Skowhegan. He is survived by his wife, Marion (Chandler) Coy of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. S. Fernald (Leona) Richards of Dover-Foxcroft; three brothers, Elhanan of Lawrenceville, Pa., Gaylon of Oscoda, Mich., Ulmer of Poland, Me.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Feb. 10 at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. Spring burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Friends wishing, may contribute to the Maine Lung Association in Mr. Coy's memory. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.
