Obituary	EDWIN G. DEWS DEXTER - Edwin G. Dews, 93, of 30 Spring St., died Feb. 1 at a Dexter nursing home after a long illness. He was born July 18, 1891, in Dover-Foxcroft, son of Charles and Martha (Weymouth) Dews. He was a retired railroad worker for the Bangor and Aroostook Railraod and had retired as an employe of Abbott's Wollen Mill, Dexter. He was a former member of the Ellsworth Odd Fellows Lodge. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Urban(Irene) Mountain of Dexter; one brother, Millard Dews of Twin Peaks, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Jean Rowe of Presque Isle; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Blanche Larrochell LaPrice of Dexter; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and cousins. funeral services were held Feb. 4 at the Thompson Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. John Dunn of the Dexter First Baptist Church officiatin Spring burial will be in the Lown Cemetery, Guilford. Friends who wish may make donations to the American Cancer Socieyt, 31 Central St. Bangor.
