Obituary	HERBERT M. SMITH DEXTER-Herbert M. Smith, 65, of Garland Road, Dexter, died Jan. 28 at the Veterans Hospital, Togus. He was born Aug. 8, 1909 at Grand Falls, N.B. son of Joseph and Laura Norsworthy Smith. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Pentecostal Church in Charleston. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Laura N Humphrey, Dexter; a brother, Fred of Dexter; a sister, Mrs Frederick (Maxine) King, Calais; one uncle and 12 nieces and nephew. Funeral services were Jan. 30 in the Charleston Pentecosal Church with the Rev. Ronald E. Libby officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
