Obituary	MILDRED CHRISTOPHER Funeral services were held Oct. 24 at the Ricker Funeral Home, Woodsville, N.H., for Mrs. Mildred Safford Christopher, formerly of Dexter and her husband Charles, 83, who were killed in a head on crash on the Lisbon-Littleton highway. Ms. Christopher, 81, was born August 26, 1892, in Ripley, Me, the daughter of Ronsico and Carrie Lane Safford. At one time she was secretary to the Maine Secretary of State. She also operated a beauty parlor in Dexter. She was affiliated with the Eastern Star and Rebekahs. She is survived by a son, Wade S. Upton of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren and none great-grandchildren. Mr. Christopher, 83, was a native of Plymouth, Mass. and had lived in Woodsville most of his life. He was a frequent visitor to Dexter when his wife's family were living here. Donations may be made in their memory to the Cottage Hospital, Woodsville, N. H.
