Obituary	HILDON BRAWN Hildon Brawn, 66, of Dexter, died Tuesday afternoon at a local hospital after a long illness. He was born in Dexter June 15, 1907, son of Harry W. and Vina Bessie Brawn. He graduated from Dexter schools and from Bates College in Lewiston. He was principal of the Alfred High School for five years and worked for the U. S. War Department Corps of Engineers, Rivers and Harbors Division, in Massachusetts and Connecticut. He was a self-employed poultry farmer in the Dexter area and was retired at the time of his death. Survivors include his widow, Dorothy Marsh Brawn of Dexter; four sons, Roger and Gregory, both of this town; Malcolm of North Andover, Mass., and Jeffrey of Hyde Park, N.Y.; one sister, Mrs. Vance (Beatrice) Wakefield of Bath; four grandchildren. Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at 3 p.m. at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Brawn.
