Obituary	Mrs. Effie Blanch Fletcher, 58, widow of Henry Fletcher passed away at her home Saturday morning after a two months' illness. She was born in Castle Hill, but had lived in town over twenty-five years. She was a member of Palmyra Grange and had held the office of Ceres for several years. She leaves eight daughters, Mrs. Marian Foote of Rockland, Mrs. Doris Davis of Jonesboro, Mrs. Irene Wark of Dexter, Mrs. Wnona Wark of Newport, Mrs. Phyllis Dunton of St. Albans, Mrs. Nina Dyer and Misses Mildred and Margaret Fletcher of Palmyra; and three sons, Lauris of Portland, Ivan of Newort and Clarence of Palmyra. Another daughter, Ruth, passed away about a year ago. There are 25 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at her late home Monday afternoon, John H. Miller, pastor of the High Street Union Church in Newort officiated. Interment was at the village cemetery.
