Obituary	BERTHA D. JONES Bertha Damon Jones, 66, of Dexter died unexpectedly Sunday morning, July 29. She was born in Atkinson Nov. 23, 1906. She was the daughter of Nelson and Sarah Jane Soule Damon. She lived in Brighton most of her life, moving to Dexter 17 years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Donald Gordon of Dexter, five brothers, Ira Damon Sr. of Derby, Leslie of Corinna, Llewelyn of Bernard, Irving of Brewer, Ivan of Milo, and one sister Mrs. Ervin (Alice) Badger of Milo, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Crosby Neal Funeral home in Dexter. Burial was in the Brighton Cemetery.
