Obituary	MRS. EDITH M. TILLSON Mrs. Edith Marden Tillson, 78, of Dexter died Tuesday at a local hospital after a long illness. She was born in Palmero Oct. 3, 1894, daughter of Edwin F. and Alice Brooks Marden. She was the widow of Rufus H. Tillson and was associated with H.L. Tillson & Co., in Dexter for many years. She was a member of the Dexter First Universalist Church and life member of Merrymeeting Chapter, 0ES; a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Sunshine Club, Boneka Club and the Ladies Aid of the church. She is survived by two sons, Thomas and Robert both of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Allen of Mexico, Me.; one brother, Harry Marden, East Millinocket; five grandchildren, Mrs. Richard Firman, Oklahoma City, Okla.; David, Norwalk, Conn.; Richard, Thomas, Steven, Dexter. Funeral services are being held to-day (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the First Universalist Church, Dexter, the Rev. Robert W. Sterling officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Friends who wish may contribute in her memory to the American Cancer Society or to the local Sunshine Club.
