Obituary	ROY F. CHENEY Roy F. Cheney, 93, died March 18 at a Bingham nursing home after a long illness. He was born in Augusta Dec. 17, 1889, the son of Charles and Emma Cheney. He retired after 27 years with the Central Maine Power Co., and 30 years with the Dexter Fire Department and held the rank of captain during his time of service. He was a member of the Penobscot Lodge of Masons for 35 years. He is survived by three children: two sons, Therl of Everett, Mass., and Rodney of Lebanon, Conn. and a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Ogden of Dexter; 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Crosby-Neal Funeral Home on Tuesday. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the spring.
