Obituary	PHILIP J. GOULETTE Philip J. Goulette, 82, died Saturday evening at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. Mr. Goulette was born in St. Joseph de Beauce, P.Q. Canada, Aug. 28, 1890, the son of Thomas and Celina (Baskett) Goulette. He came to this country with his parents when a small child where he first lived in Sangerville and later came to make his home in Dexter. He had been a retail grocer known as "Goulette's Market" on Water st. for 43 years. A communicant of Ste. Anne's Church in Dexter he was a Charter member of the Cardinal Mercier Knights of Columbus and was also a fourth degree knight. Goulette was made an honorary member of the Mercier Council K. of C. in 1960. Only members having belonged to the order for at least 25 years and having reached the age of 70 are accorded this honor. Mr. Goulette is survived by his wife Victoria (Goulet) Goulette, two sons Gerald of Dexter and Eugene of Guilford; five daughters, Mrs. H.M. David (Inez) of Montreal, Canada, Mrs. Gerald Dyer, (Geraldine) of Dexter; Mrs. Joseph Murphy (Christina) of Brewer, Mrs. Henry (Vernita) of Dover, New Hampshire, Mrs. Kenneth Veazie (Virginia) of Corinna; 27 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clifford and Robert of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Marion Richard of Dexter; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Ste. Anne's Catholic Church on Tuesday. Grandchildren who served as bearers were Michael and Robert Murphy, Brewer; Thomas Goulette, Guilford; Richard Veazie Corinna and David and Bary Goulette, Dexter. Members of the 4th degree K. of C. served as honorary bearers. Altar boys who served at the Mass were also grandchildren, Jere and Charles Gajewski of Dover, N.H. note: photo accompanies obituary
