Obituary	LEWIS R. CLEVELAND Lewis R. Cleveland died Jan. 9 on the way to the Plummer Hospital, Dexter. He was born in Exeter, Nov. 21, 1897 the son of Roswell J. and Mertie (Holt) Cleveland. He was educated in the Exetere schools and served in the Exeter schools and served in the Navy in World War I. He was a member of the South Sangerville Grange and the Dexter Fish and Game Association. He was employed for over 40 years by the late O.J. Roberts Sr. and later worked for the Dexter Dairy. He is survived by his widow Mildred (Smith) Cleveland of Dexter; a son, Errol R. of Bangor; two grandchildren; a sister, Mildred C. Jamieson of Bangor and Florida. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Crosby-Neal Funeral Home in Dexter. Burial will be in the spring at the Exeter Center Cemetery.
