Obituary	MRS. KATHERINE S. NICHOLS DEXTER-Mrs. Katherine S. Nichols, age 46, died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds at her residence in Dexter, Dec. 22. She was born July 23, 1928 in Garland the daughter of James and Nettie Downs Smith Drake. She was educated in the Dexter Schools, member of the United Methodist Church of Dexter, and was employed for several years at the Dexter Shoe Co., until this last year. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Nichols of Dexter, one son Roderick Nichols of Woolrich, Penn., one daughter Linda Nichols of Boston, Mass., and her mother, Mrs. Nettie Drake of Garland; sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Evelyn) Reeks, Mrs. Llewelyn (Francis) Small of Woolrich, Penn., Mrs. Leonard (Pauline) Downs of Dover Foxcroft, Mrs. Merle (Gloria) Haskell, Dexter, Mrs. Carl (Lorraine) Feliciani, Brewer, Maine, Mrs. Steven (Carol) Gudroe, Calif., Josephine of Florida. Seven Brothers, Donald, of Florida, Robert of Garland, Harold of Garland, James Jr. of Boston, Mass., John of Florida, Eugene of Garland. One half brother, Stan Drake, Jr., Garland, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon attwo oclock at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, where friends may call Tues. afternoon and evening 2 - 4, and 7 - 8. Spring buriel will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
