Obituary	RAYMOND L. STEVENS Dexter - Raymond L. Stevens, 71, died at a Bangor nursing home, Dec. 16. He was born Dec. 17, 1902, in North Newport, the son of Alonzo and Margie (McKenney) Stevens. He was employed for 30 years at Fayscott Landis in Dexter, and was self employed as a mason thereafter. He resides in North Dexter until recently when he retired in Hudson, Fla. He is survived by his widow, Mary (Richardson) Stevens; three sons, Raymond LeRoy Jr. of Augusta, Terrence Lee of Bangor, Kevin Charles of Exeter; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Gloria) Osgood of Dover-Foxcroft, and Mrs. Lester (Gail) Hamm, Brooksville, Fla.; four brothers, Edward t., Clifford A., Clarence G., and Reid A., all of Exeter; a sister, Mrs. Monty (Marjorie( Judkins of Bangor: 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephew. Funeral services will be held at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. where friends may call Dec. 18, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. A spring burial will be in the North Newport Cemetary. Friends who wish may donate in his memory to the American Cancer Society. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
