Obituary	MRS. CYNTHIA A. JOHNSON Mrs. Cynthia A. Johnson, 81, died Saturday afternoon at the home of Ernest Packard in Parkman, where she bad been boarding, after three years of failing health. She was born in Wellington, September 26, 1863, the daughter of Ivory and Elizabeth Pike. On May 21, 1882 she was united in marriage to Edmund Johnson, who died a number of years ago. For several years they lived in Wellington and Cambridge before coming to Dexter in 1905, where she has lived until, a few months ago. She was a devoted and faithful member of the Seventh Day Advent-Church. Funeral services were held from the home of her son, Herbert Johnson, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Bernard Estes of Parkman officiating. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, and the bearers were Fred Jewett, Harry Merrill, Ethan Robinson and Alexander Thompson. Surviving relatives are the son, Herbert Johnson of Dexter; three grandchildren, Mrs. Ona Clement of Bangor, Leslie and Leon Johnson of Dexter; four great-grandchildren, William, Clement, Vaughn, Sheilla and David Johnson; two nephews, Leland and Wilbur Pike of Wellington; one cousin, Ed Pike of Wellington. Attending the funeral services from out of town were Mrs. Clement of Bangor, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Pike, Wilbur Pike, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Lane, Mrs. Hattie Pike of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Clement and grandson William of Parkman.
