Obituary
Eugene S. Hall Eugene S. Hall died suddenly Sunday afternoon about 2:30 o'clock at his home in town. He had been in poor health for number of years but he had been feeling as well as usual and had enjoyed having members of his family home with him for Father's Day. He passed away within an hour from the time he complained of feeling ill. He was born in Lincoln 73 years ago, the son of Prince Albert and Mary Douglas Hall, and he came to Dexter about 30 years ago having previously resided in Exeter and Sangerville. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lottie McKenney Hall; three sons, Lucious Hall of Caribou, Pvt. Eugene Hall Jr., M. P. at Valley Forge, Pa., Pvt. Alfred Hall, a patient at the Cushing General hospital in Framingham, Mass.; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Nolan, Washington, D. C., Mrs. Chastie Hall, Guilford, Mrs. Gladys Tarr, Dexter, Mrs. Inez Newman, Worcester, Mass., and Flossie and Arlene Hall at home. Funeral services were held from the Gospel Center, of which the deceased was a member, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Werner Johnson officiating. Burial was at the Elmwood cemetery in Guilford.
