Obituary	Mrs. Jefferson Morrison Carrie A. Morrison, 85, widow of Jefferson D. Morrison, died at a Hartland nursing home Sept. 9. She was born Sept. 11, 1888 at Silvers Mills, Maine, daughter of Charles and Sarah (Leighton) Young. She was a retired linotype operator with The Eastern Gazette for 20 years. She was a graduate of Dexter High School and a life member of the Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge of Dexter. She is survived by a step-daughter, Marion Dundas of Pittsfield; a sister, Florence Crocker of the Crestwood Nursing Home, Hartland; a nephew Eldred Crocker of Portsmouth, N. H. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Crosby Funeral Home. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
