Obituary	GARFIELD W. WILCOX Garfield W. Wilcox, 84, died last Wednesday evening at a local nursing home. He was born in Newton, N.B., June 2, 1890, son of Simon and Charlotte Goslin Wilcox He was a machinist for several years at the Fay Scott Machine Shop before his retirement. He was a member of the First Free Baptist Church of Dexter where he served as deacon for many years. He is survived by one foster son, James Gillespie of Dexter, with whom he resided for many years; two sisters, Mrs Rosa Hamilton of Georgetown, Ont., A. Blanch Wilcox, R. N., of Atlantic Highlands, N.J.; one brother C. Frank Wilcox of Edmunton, Alberta, Canada; three foster grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. Funeral services were held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter.
