Obituary	RALPH R. THOMPSON Funeral services for Ralph R. Thompson, 73, Belfast, former Dexter resident, were held last Thursday at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Belfast. He died August 12 at a Belfast hospital after a brief illness. He was born at Winterport October, 26, 1900, the son of Woodbury D. and Emmie Clark Thompson. He was educated in Bangor Schools and was a graduate of Boston University. He was employed by the Dexter Branch of the Merrill Trust Company before going to Belfast as manager of that branch in 1930. He was a member of many Masonic Orders. He represented Belfast in the State Legislature for two terms and had been a member of the Belfast City Council. He was also a member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. He retired in 1966. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Louise Weymouth of Dexter; one daughter Mrs. John D. Carr of Belfast; one brother Dr. Alvah C. Thompson of Portland; one grandson.
