Obituary	MRS. LOUISE SWAN Mrs. Louise M. Swan, 62, of Dexter died early Thursday at a Waterville hospital following a long illness. She was born in Dexter Dec. 4, 1911, the daughter of Archie and Ida Chisholm Morrill. She attended Dexter schools, was a member of the United Methodist Church, Dexter, the Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge of which she was P. N. Grand, the Wassookeag Chapter, OES, and also of the Chiquita Temple Pythian Sisters of which she was a past officer. Mrs. Swan was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, of which she served as local president for many years. She was also active as town chairman for the March of Dimes for the past several years. She was employed at the Dexter Shoe Co. for many years until her retirement recently because of ill health. Survivors include her husband Donald of Dexter; four sons, Frederick of Manchester, N.H.; William of Londonderry, N.H.; Donald of Tolland, Conn., and David of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Works and Miss Margaret Swan, both of Dexter; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held on Sunday at the Dexter United Methodist Church, Church Street, Dexter.
