Obituary	EDWARD W. NICHOLS Edward W. Nichols, 75, of Dexter, died Saturday in a local hospital after a long illness. Mr. Nichols was born Feb. 26 1899, in Boston, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nichols. He lived here most of his life where he operated a grocery store for 17 years, retiring because of failing health. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Grayson (June) Bishop of this town; a sister, Mrs. Grace Montroni, Sa Francisco, Calif.; a brother, Fred Nichols of Brownville Junction and two grandchildren. A rosary was said at the Crosby Funeral Home and a funeral mass was held Monday at St. Anne's Church. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
