Obituary	ETHEL C. FORTIER Mrs. Ethel C. Fortier, 89, of Dexter died May 3 at a Dover'Foxcroft nursing home. She was born in Sangerville Nov. 25, 1884 daughter of Frank and Ida (Brett) Carsley. She was retired, having taught school for 35 years. She returned from Florida in 1970 and had been residing with her son, Robert since that time. She is survived by two sons, Robert Fortier of Dexter and Frank B. Fortier of Winthrop; two brothers, Fred Carsley of Newport and Homer Carsley of Hartland; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces Funeral services were held Sunday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter with the Rev. Robert Sterling of the First Universalist Church officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bud Kelley of the United Methodist Church. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Dexter.
