Obituary
WILLIS W. JACKSON Willis W, Jackson 82, of Dexter, died at a Dexter hospital April 8 after a short illness. He was born in Sangerville, May 24, 1891, the son of Charles and Addie (Bridges) Jackson. He had been a member of the Advent Christian Church in Dover-Foxcroft for the past 63 years and had been a deacon of that church for several years. The Jacksons had recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He had been engaged in farming in the Dexter-Sangerville area for many years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. L. Pearl, Grant Jackson, Dexter; one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Goodwin, Dover-Foxcroft; one brother, Ralph Jackson of Dexter; one sister, Alice Roberts, Dover-Foxcroft; one grandson, Alfred Lee, Dexter; six greatgrandchildren. Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. in the Advent Christian Church in Dover-Foxcroft. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the spring. Friends wishing to may contribute to a memorial fund for Bibles for the church pews in care of Clyde Whitten, Pine St. Dover-Foxcroft.
